Dan Kubes

Dan has more than 25 years of industry experience, spending nearly his entire career working on leveraged buyouts (LBOs). Dan co-manages Solheim's operations and also serves on Solheim's investment committee and the Boards of Directors for each of the firm's portfolio companies. Prior to Solheim, Dan was a principal and oversaw capital markets at Wayzata Investment Partners, was a partner at Shoreview Industries and was a managing director at Piper Jaffray focused on private company LBOs in the industrials practice. Dan is a CPA (inactive) and began his career at Arthur Anderson after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.
Chris Keenan
Partner
Chris has more than 20 years of industry experience and co-manages Solheim’s operations. He also serves on Solheim’s investment committee and the Boards of Directors for the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to Solheim, Chris was a principal with Wayzata Investment Partners, where he was responsible for numerous distressed and stressed credit and private equity investments. He previously was an analyst for the distressed/high yield group at Citadel Investment Group and an investment banking analyst with Banc of America Securities in San Francisco. Chris graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University.
Joe Deignan
Partner
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Joe chairs the investment committee at Solheim and serves on the Boards of Directors for each of Solheim’s portfolio companies. Joe was previously a founding partner at Wayzata Investment Partners, where he focused on control-equity investments, primarily through distressed debt. Prior to founding Wayzata, Joe was an analyst at Cargill Financial Services. He began his career as an investment banker at Wessels, Arnold & Henderson and holds a master’s in business administration degree from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree from Saint John’s University.
